The wisdom of God produces divine intelligence." The lives of Joseph, Daniel and Solomon are scriptural examples of this for us. God gave them divine wisdom, or divine insight, understanding and knowledge." This includes the gifts of the Holy Spirit but blends this with the New Testament understandings of "having the mind of Christ."There is a difference between “earthly wisdom” and the “wisdom that comes from above” (James 3:14–18).
True wisdom comes from God and Jesus Christ is the embodiment of that wisdom (1 Corinthians 1:30). To put our faith in God and yield to His Holy Spirit is to walk in wisdom; as Christians, “we have the mind of Christ” (1 Corinthians 2:16).Wisdom is the capacity to see things from God's perspective and respond according to scriptural principles. To have knowledge is to have understanding or information about something. To have wisdom is to have the ability to apply knowledge we have received to everyday life. It is in the reading and understanding of God’s Word that we obtain knowledge, and wisdom is the application of that knowledge.
Why is wisdom more important than any other desirable pleasure? Because wisdom is the Presence of God applied to a practical situation. It’s God’s Holy Spirit manifest in all our decisions, words, actions, behavior patterns, thought patterns, etc. If you have wisdom it will show in the way you conduct your life “Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom” (James 3:13
When we walk in divine wisdom, we can rest assured that the Lord is with us always and we are living in accordance with his purpose and plans for us.
He won't allow us to enter into any situation that He has not anticipated, nor will He permit a circumstance unless He designed it for our good.
When we walk in divine wisdom, we are protected from evil, wickedness and the calamities that are prevent in this world. Wisdom saves us from many difficulties in this life. It equips us to handle difficult circumstances and positions us to receive, physical ,spiritual and eternal rewards.
Those who walk in wisdom receive God’s direction for their lives. While God's children still have some painful experiences, they are spared many mistakes pitfalls, and calamities. God’s divine wisdom spare believers numerous wrong decisions and hurtful relationships.
To tap into God’s wisdom, we must, first of all, desire it and ask God for it. “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you” (James 1:5).
We must diligently pray for wisdom (2 Timothy 2:15), meditate on the Word, , seek it with all our hearts, and walk in the Spirit. God desires to give His wisdom to His children.
This book is written for people who constantly need direction and guidance in their lives. The prayers in this book are designed to remove the veil of ignorance and help you see clearly the things you need to understand. Ephesians 1:17. God will answer your prayer for wisdom if you’ll just ask Him for it. So go ahead… why not ask now?
